INNERGY Acquires Archetype, Launches Shop Drawings as a Service for Millwork Manufacturers

AUSTIN, Texas — May 27, 2026 — INNERGY, the leading ERP and design software provider for custom millwork and cabinetry manufacturers, has acquired Archetype, a major provider of outsourced drafting and shop drawing services for the woodworking industry.
 
The acquisition gives INNERGY customers direct access to expert drafting capacity through a new offering called Shop Drawings as a Service. The combined platform addresses what 78% of INNERGY customers identify as a chronic problem in their businesses: drafting and engineering capacity.

Its 220 associates produce production-ready 2D and 3D shop drawings, parametric models and engineering deliverables for cabinet shops and millwork manufacturers around the world. INNERGY customers participating in an early-adopter program have been receiving shop drawings from the Archetype team since 2025, with strong results.
