IWF only comes around every two years, and when it does, the whole industry shows up in one building. This August, North America’s largest woodworking show returns to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, running August 25 to 28. If you’re making the trip, here’s where to find us and what’s worth your time.
Two booths this year
We have two spots this year: Booth BC807 and Booth B4235. Look for the orange. You’ll find people from both the INNERGY and Microvellum teams ready to talk shop and show you what we’ve been building. If you just want to talk about how other shops are handling estimating, scheduling, or engineering, that’s a conversation we’re happy to have.
See a live demo, built around your shop
Screenshots and sizzle reels don’t tell you much. A live demo does, especially when it runs on your problems instead of ours.
Book a demo slot and bring the part of your operation that keeps you up at night. Maybe it’s jobs that finish over budget and nobody can say why. Maybe it’s the gap between what engineering releases and what the shop floor actually cuts. On the INNERGY ERP side, we’ll walk through estimating, job costing, and scheduling live on the floor. On the Microvellum side, we’ll show how parametric product logic drives shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC output from a single model, so a change made once updates everything downstream.
Demo slots fill up fast at IWF, so book yours ahead of the show.
Catch our education sessions
Education is why IWF is worth four days away from your shop, and it’s the part of the show we care about most. Our team is teaching six sessions this year as part of the IWF Education Conference, covering data, AI, industry benchmarks, and lean operations. None of them require you to be an INNERGY customer to get something out of them. That’s the point.

On July 22, Biesse hosts a national manufacturing event at Hansen & Company Woodworks in St. Joseph, Minnesota to unveil HCo 2.0, North America’s first fully automated frameless batch-one cabinet production line, a $25 million investment built in partnership with Biesse Technic.
The machines will get the headlines, and they’ve earned it. But a line like that doesn’t run on machinery alone. Every panel moving through it depends on the business data behind it, and that’s the story INNERGY is there to tell. Better yet, we’re not the ones telling it.
Cole Eklund presents Hansen’s INNERGY ERP story, live
INNERGY is a featured presenter at the event, and Cole Eklund delivers a 45-minute session on how Hansen implemented INNERGY ERP in their operation.
Most of what you hear about ERP comes from vendors running polished demos under ideal conditions. This is the opposite: a live customer case study, told at one of the most advanced woodworking facilities in the country, covering what implementation really took and what changed in how the shop runs. You’ll be standing inside the answer.
The details
- What: Biesse’s national manufacturing event at Hansen & Company Woodworks
- When: July 22, 2026
- Where: Hansen & Company Woodworks, St. Joseph, Minnesota
Register through Biesse’s event page. See you in St. Joseph.
Machinery open houses are good at showing you what a machine can do. What they usually can’t show you is whether the jobs feeding that machine are actually making money. This July, we’re bringing that half of the conversation to Sacramento.
INNERGY has been invited to Vision Machinery’s Summer Open House, July 15-16 at their showroom (1309 N Market Blvd, Suite #140, Sacramento, CA 95834). Vision Machinery is calling it their biggest open house yet, and the format is what makes these events worth the drive: live machine demonstrations, industry people who actually run shops, and two days to ask the questions you can’t ask a spec sheet.
Catch Jillian Klinar’s session on protecting your margins
Our own Jillian Klinar will be onsite presenting a session on real-time data and how shops can protect profit margins throughout the lifecycle of a project. Margin rarely disappears in one dramatic moment. It leaks, usually through an unbilled change order here and a few dozen labor hours nobody logged against the job there, until the project you bid at 18% closes at 6% and nobody can tell you where the other 12 points went.
Real-time data changes when you find out. Instead of doing the autopsy after the job ships, you see the bleed while there’s still time to reprice the change order or flag the labor overrun. Jillian will walk through what that looks like in practice, from the first estimate to the final invoice. If you’ve ever finished a job and thought “we worked hard on that one, so where’s the money?”, this session is for you.
The details
• What: Vision Machinery Summer Open House
• When: July 15-16, 2026
• Where: 1309 N Market Blvd, Suite #140, Sacramento, CA 95834
• Who should come: Shop owners, GMs, ops managers, and estimators in Northern California who want to see machines run and learn how to keep more of what they earn
Register and get the full event lineup on Vision Machinery’s event page.
If you’re within driving distance of Sacramento, block off the two days. Come watch the machines run, sit in on Jillian’s session, and find the INNERGY team while you’re there.
By Marc Sanderson, CEO, INNERGY
Every conversation I have with a cabinet shop owner or millwork manufacturer eventually arrives at the same place. The shop floor is humming. Sales is closing work. The team is talented. But somewhere between the sold project and the finished cabinet, things slow down. The engineers can’t get drawings out fast enough. Projects sit. Deadlines slip. Overtime piles up. And the next job is already waiting.
It is the single most consistent piece of feedback I have heard in this industry. At our recent 2026 Summit, when we asked customers to rank the biggest problems facing their businesses, shop drawings came back as number one. Not pricing. Not labor. Not material costs. Drafting capacity.
Today, INNERGY acquired Archetype, the world’s largest woodworking drafting team. 220+ associates focused entirely on shop drawings for cabinet shops and millwork manufacturers. Their work is the answer to the bottleneck I just described, and starting now, it lives directly inside the INNERGY platform.
Why Archetype, why now
Archetype is not a generalist outsourcing firm. The team has been doing nothing but woodworking drafting for over a decade. They know the standards. They know the software. They know how a shop actually runs. Early-adopter INNERGY customers have been receiving shop drawings since 2025, and the feedback has been clear enough that demand is already outpacing capacity.
What gets me most excited is what happens when you combine a service like drafting with a connected platform like INNERGY. Drafting outsourcing has always been painful because the workflow lived outside your system. You sent files. You waited. You got drawings back. You found a problem. You sent more files. Repeat.
Inside INNERGY, that loop collapses. You request a drawing from inside the ERP. You see the status update in real time. Drawings in production, drawings in review, drawings delivered. Think Amazon order tracking. Over time, you will be able to watch the drafter work on your file and make annotations live, without the bounce-back of batch processing. The friction goes to zero.
What this means for you
If you are an INNERGY customer, this is one more tool in your kit, available when and if you want it. If you are a Microvellum customer, nothing changes about your software, your support, or your relationship with us. If you use Cabinet Vision, Mosaic, or another design package, Archetype’s service is still open to you.
Your existing contracts, your pricing, your support, all of it stays the same. Archetype is an addition, not a replacement.
And about AI
Yes, AI is part of this. The 220 associates at Archetype are also our incubator. We will test new AI-assisted drafting tools with the team, refine them in real production conditions, and then make them available to customers as they mature. The combination of expert humans and good AI is going to reshape this industry. Archetype is where we build it.
I am not going to make big AI promises today. What I will say is this: the workflow is going to collapse. The drafting workflow, the estimating workflow, the work-order workflow. The shops that adopt the new tools will run circles around the shops that don’t. We want our customers on the right side of that line.
Where we go from here
Both Archetype and Microvellum continue to operate under their own brands. Existing customers see continuity of service. We have a lot of work to do on integration, on AI, and on building this into something that genuinely changes how cabinet shops and millwork manufacturers run their businesses. We will get there one step at a time, listening to the voice of the customer every step of the way.
This is a big move. It is also a familiar one. INNERGY has always been about solving the bottlenecks our customers actually face, not the ones it is fashionable to talk about. Drafting is the bottleneck. Now we have the team to solve it.
Marc Sanderson
CEO, INNERGY
If you run a millwork shop in Canada, AWMAC is probably already on your radar. This year’s National Convention — June 11–13 in Québec City — brings together manufacturers, suppliers, and partners from across the country under one theme: Built to Lead: Shaping the Future of Architectural Woodwork. INNERGY is the presenting sponsor.
Marc Sanderson, INNERGY’s CEO, will be on the keynote stage, with two additional speaking sessions throughout the conference. Three opportunities to dig into the real business challenges millwork shops are facing: estimating that bleeds margin, production schedules that fall apart when things get busy, and the disconnect between the office and the shop floor that quietly costs shops more than they realize.
The industry is the point
There’s a shop tour built into the agenda, and it’s worth noting that the shop being toured runs Microvellum, INNERGY’s sister CAD/CAM product. You’ll get to see what modern millwork production actually looks like when the software is built for the work.
AWMAC draws Canadian millwork owners and operations leaders who are serious about running tighter, more profitable businesses. Keynotes, practical learning sessions, and intentional networking — the program is designed to give you something you can actually use when you get back to the shop.
That’s exactly who we built INNERGY for.
Come find us
If you’re attending AWMAC this year, we’d love to connect. Catch one of Marc Sanderson’s sessions, find us at the sponsor table, or reach out before the event to set up time to talk.
This is what we show up for.
INNERGY is proud to be a sponsor of the CMA Greater Philadelphia Area Regional Event, taking place April 27–29, 2026. Hosted by the Cabinet Makers Association, this regional gathering brings together cabinetmakers and industry partners for facility tours, peer conversations, and hands-on learning. We’re excited to be part of it!
What to Expect
The CMA regional format keeps things intentional and small (attendance is limited), which means real conversations and genuine connections. Over three days, attendees will tour five working cabinet shops across the Greater Philadelphia area:
April 27: Village Handcrafted Cabinetry (Lansdale, PA) and Paul Downs Cabinetmakers (Bridgeport, PA)
April 28: Seven Trees Woodworking (New Holland, PA), Keystone Wood Specialties (Lancaster, PA), and Fox Woodworking (Phoenixville, PA)
April 29: Optional visit to the Wharton Esherick Museum (Malvern, PA)
Every stop on the tour is a chance to see how other shops operate.
Who’s Attending from INNERGY
We’re not just sponsoring this one, our team will be there. Account Executives Mickey Manser and Garin Trimble will be on the ground, if you’re attending, make a point to find them. They know the woodworking industry, and they’d genuinely love to meet you.
See You in Philadelphia

As INNERGY expands our reach in the woodworking industry, we’re now working more closely with custom stair manufacturers, giving stair builders a smarter way to manage complexity, scale smoothly, and stay in control.
For growing stair companies, spreadsheets and Kanban boards eventually hit a wall. INNERGY understands that every step is custom-built, and our software is designed to give you visibility, accuracy, and control across the unique demands of high-end stair manufacturing.
Every Stair Is Unique. Your Software Should Be Too.
No two stair projects are the same. Curves, radiuses, tread profiles, and balusters change from job to job. Software built for repetitive production will only slow you down.
INNERGY is a cloud platform built for custom manufacturers. It streamlines operations, eliminates manual chaos, and supports sustainable growth without sacrificing craftsmanship.
The Challenge: Custom Work Meets Complex Operations
Stair builders deal with one-off geometries, profiles, and materials on every job. Creativity stays high, but complexity piles up. Many shops reach a breaking point when manual systems can’t keep pace:
- Spreadsheets that don’t sync or scale
- Whiteboards that can’t track multiple jobs
- Sticky notes that vanish when you need them most
As projects grow and timelines tighten, visibility suffers. That’s your signal to move to INNERGY.
Flexible Workflows that Actually Work
From curved rails to floating stairs, INNERGY adapts to the way you build. No more forcing stair work into cabinet templates or rigid ERP systems.
Custom doesn’t mean chaotic. INNERGY brings order to complex builds with tailored BOMs, flexible routings, and labor factors built for the way stair builders actually work.
Centralized Control Instead of Scattered Spreadsheets
Estimate, schedule, track, and manage inventory all in one place. INNERGY becomes your single source of truth for every project, giving you confidence from bid to install.
Real-Time Visibility from Anywhere
Monitor job progress, materials, and labor costs in real time whether you’re in the office, on site, or on vacation. One of our customers even managed his shop 1,800 miles away using INNERGY.
Education and Community, Not Just a Tool
INNERGY backs the platform with education, events, and peer learning for builders who want to grow smarter. Join Summits, Forums, and weekly sessions to trade playbooks, share best practices, and sharpen your operations alongside other high-performing shops.
Real Results: Florida Stairworks
When Florida Stairworks & Carpentry outgrew spreadsheets and manual boards, they turned to INNERGY to add structure, scalability, and visibility.
Their results:
- Grew from 2 to 80 employees (and counting)
- Eliminated manual Kanban boards and paper job tags
- Gained real-time job costing and labor visibility
- Enabled remote leadership—from anywhere in the country
Ready to See INNERGY in Action?
If your stair business has outgrown spreadsheets, or you’re ready to bring clarity to custom, complex work, it’s time to see INNERGY for yourself. As Doug from Florida Stairworks says, “INNERGY isn’t just a tool. It’s a system that helps you change how you think and operate. And if you don’t evolve, you become a dinosaur”.
