Probably the biggest provider of real-time or delayed stock quotes is Data Broadcasting Corporation -- www.dbc.com(many other sites are driven by DBC). Another nice site offering delayed quotes is InvestorsEdge -- www.irnet.com (powered by DBC).

If you're running ActiveX you can download a stock ticker app from Microsoft's ActiveX gallery.
